Gifts for Women
Anyone got any gifts for their other half that they really loved and didn't cost a fortune?

Got Xmas, her birthday then valentines in the next 3 months, could do with some money saving ideas and keeping her happy at same time

I would say that Brussels may depend on how old you are.

For a place to get pissed, probably the worst place I've ever been too.

Take her to Edinburgh, a much better place.

Re: Gifts for Women
There are some fantastic restaurants and bars in Brussels, but nowhere near as much to see as Brugges and the atmosphere is more subdued as well.

Re: Gifts for Women
The sort of behaviour I'd expect from teenagers in a club Mr P, where as these chaps were about 45.

Laying on the bar kissing like there was about to be an apocalypse and it was only 7pm.

Thankfully in England, mincers would get a good shoeing for such shit in a normal pub.

Re: Gifts for Women
I agree, other than the building in the square which looks good at night, Brussels is shit boring.

I'm still mentally scarred from seeing two blokes in suits almost fuck each other in a bar there as well.

Horrendous.

He'd be better off taking her to Brugges than to Brussels, unless he wants to bore her to death.

Bling is your fall-back, rarely fails, especially something outside the mainstream. EC1 at Exmouth Market has helped me out a few times in the past.

Re: Gifts for Women
Sorry Ricky, I hadn't read that.

Fuck me diehard, I haven't spent £900 in total in the 14 years I've been with the missus on presents for her.

If they care more about you than money, then you don't need to buy big gifts.

My romantic side died years ago though.
